Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland

Location: Geneva International Conference Center (CICG)
Rue de Varembé 17, 1211 Genève
QIDiS is a one-day event that gathers over 500 academic and industrial R&D to foster exchange and accelerate the development of new quantum products for inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

Large private and public investments are rapidly pushing quantum technologies out of labs and into real-world applications. Industrial actors are playing a key role: they provide the enabling technologies as well as the commercialization know-how driving this development. The program covers the areas of quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum instrumentation and quantum communication.

Open Quantum Institute General Meeting and Workshops

Location: CERN Science Gateway
Espl. des Particules 1, 1217 Meyrin

During the GESDA Summit, the OQI community will gather for its annual meeting, with a series of workshops centered around OQI’s main activities. By invitation only.

OQI Use Case Workshop
OQI use case teams will present their progress and share best practices on applying quantum approaches to address complex computational problems aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

OQI Methodology Workshop
National and regional quantum hubs as well as leading international quantum institutions will discuss methodologies for developing use cases with societal benefit. There will also be an exchange of insights and lessons learned on how these efforts support the development and growth of quantum ecosystems.

OQI Capacity Building Workshop
This workshop will be the opportunity to discuss OQI’s Capacity Building activities and the progress and feedback so far  – including our growing repository of educational materials, global hackathons and the Quantum Diplomacy Game throughout 2025 and the International Year of Quantum (IYQ). The workshop will also provide a platform for OQI’s capacity building community to explore new ideas and activities that could be implemented in 2026.
