Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland
Location: StageOne Event & Convention Hall Zürich
Elias-Canetti-Strasse 146
8050 Zurich Zurich, Switzerland
QIDiS is a one-day event that gathers over 500 academic and industrial R&D to foster exchange and accelerate the development of new quantum products for inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
Large private and public investments are rapidly pushing quantum technologies out of labs and into real-world applications. Industrial actors are playing a key role: they provide the enabling technologies as well as the commercialization know-how driving this development. The program covers the areas of quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum instrumentation and quantum communication.
Wednesday – Thursday
October 14 – October 15
As part of the sixth GESDA Summit, which gathers 1,000 global leaders in science, diplomacy, policy, and industry, the Open Quantum Institute (OQI) will convene its annual meeting, with dedicated sessions on quantum technologies.
Wednesday – Thursday
October 14 – 15
Quantum Open Doors
Location: Throughout Switzerland
Swissnex coordinates pre-arranged site visits across Switzerland, allowing international visitors to explore key quantum labs, centers, companies, ecosystem builders, and accelerators.
Thursday
October 15
The Open Quantum Institute (OQI) – an initiative hosted by CERN, born at GESDA and supported by UBS – will hold an interactive workshop on 15 October as part of the GESDA Summit 2026.
With OQI’s pilot phase concluding in December 2026, the workshop will take stock of these achievements and use lessons learned to open the floor for participants to look ahead and help design the institute’s next phase. External collaborators will also have the opportunity to showcase complementary work, helping shape a richer, more connected vision for OQI’s post-pilot phase. If you’re part of the OQI community, you’re warmly welcomed to join this invite-only workshop.
